Sconce This project began as an enlargement of an existing 12" sconce. I redesigned it as I enlarged it to make a more elegant and dramatic piece. Magic Sculpt worked very well for this project, as I could model with it, and refine it afterwards.

Bronze Rope
Bronze
about 5' square
This project, done in 2002, is at the Livermore, CA City Hall/Police Department. Sam Richardson designed the piece. The Art Foundry had the contract for the bronze work. As General Manager, I made a mold of the stone, bought inch and a half rope, tied the knot, and prepared the rope for casting. We assembled it on location.

Funeral Urn
Bronze
approx. 5' high
These urns are large enough to hold the ashes of several generations! I made the full-sized urn for an artist, based upon his design of the 12" wax. It was a fun project. The base was made from plaster inside two salad bowls, a rubber hose, a styrofoam ball, a cardboard cylinder, and foam core board.

Elm Memorial
Bronze
6' diameter
This is a monument to the large old Elms of Sacramento. It is located at 9th and I streets, Sacramento, Ca. Garr Ugalde and I made it, and we made a resin copy for the Sac. Tree Foundation. See more about the project on my elm page.

Court of Appeal Seal
Resin Cast
36" dia.
This resembles bronze, but is much lighter, so it doesn't pull down your wall.
